However, due to a public disagreement with the studio’s simultaneous release strategy on HBO Max during the pandemic, Nolan decided to work with Universal for his latest film, Oppenheimer. In response, Warner Bros. countered with Barbie. In a recent interview with Variety, Nolan discussed the possibility of returning to Warner Bros. He stated that his feud with the studio is now resolved. When asked if he is open to working with Warner Bros. again, Nolan confirmed that he is. He also praised Warner Bros.
